Stage Hands
(My Idea Of Fun)

Brandon Locher and Gerald Mattis are both producers who gravitate toward the artistic side of music. On their debut, the pair amble between ambient synth work and the more organic sounds of keys and percussion provided by Mattis. Vocals are used very sparingly, and in under 30 minutes the duo explore calm, meditative atmospheres as well as enthusiastic electronica for the dance floor. Far from your average indie-tronica, and a lot more interesting, too. (Tom Haugen)
