Since forming in New Jersey in late 2010, Bad Case of Big Mouth have gone about combining quintessentially hook-heavy pop-punk with impactful metalcore injections, bolstering their melodic sound with driving and assertive hardcore influences. The release of Straight Up Bad Luck in August 2014 via Eulogy Recordings drew acclaim from pertinent music press across the US and further bolstered the band’s already buoyant fan base beyond the East Coast alone.

Speaking on the band’s signing to Manic Kat Records, Bad Case guitarist James Benedetto explains: “We are extremely excited to start this new chapter by signing with Manic Kat Records, a very passionate and artist driven record label.”

“It touches on believing we are the sole responsible parties of our fate and in control of the path we pave”, adds vocalist John Price

Despite the band’s relative youth, Bad Case are already a seasoned festival outfit, having played Skate and Surf, two Bamboozle Fests and Vans’ Warped Tour on 4 separate occasions.

Supports and runs with the likes of State Champs, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! and Hit The Lights have further helped Bad Case hone their engaging and raucous live show; one which is set to take the East Coast by storm this August on the band’s EP release tour with Crunkasaurus Rex next month.
