We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Donaher’s new music video for their song “Wrong Side of Webster Street” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s album I Swear My Love Is True, which is being re-released through Dodgeball Records on clear vinyl with pink and blue splatter on November 10th.
Nick Lavallee of Donaher sommented on the song & video:
“The song is written from the perspective of being young and having a crush. We wanted to load the video with nostalgia and throwbacks, so there’s not a cell phone in sight, instead a real record store, cassettes, an Atari 2600, and a ‘Blonder and Blonder’ era Muffs poster.
Our album has the sensibilities of 90’s alternative and early 00’s emo pop punk, but the production is very modern, we wanted the video to have that same feeling.
Broden McCune plays the boy in the video and the record store crush is Noelle LeBlanc from Swivel and formerly of Damone. The video was directed by Aviv Marotz and it’s a whole lot of fun!”
I Swear My Love Is True was produced by Gary Cioffi (Transit, A Will Away) and mastered by Jim Keaney (Pansy Division, The Appreciation Post). The album includes the song “No Other Dude,” which features Matt Pryor from The Get Up Kids.
