Tyler, TX-based indie pop outfit Eisley has just announced a set of thirteen new headline shows that will run throughout their upcoming tour with The Dear Hunter. All upcoming tour dates can be found below. Eisley has also just finished recording their highly anticipated fifth full-length. The Will Yip (Circa Survive, Balance & Composure, Lauryn Hill) produced album will be released in 2017.

“Playing headline shows interspersed with a support tour is something we’ve never done before, so we’re really excited about this…it’s like a new adventure,” shares vocalist/guitarist Sherri DuPree-Bemis. “We’ll be playing a couple of new songs from the new record, and although that makes me a little nervous, I’m also giddy at the thought of playing new music for fans. Everyone in our touring lineup is just so in love with the music and with the idea of being a part of this tour. I feel the shows will be really entertaining and super enjoyable…I hope!”

Eisley’s upcoming tour lineup will include: Sherri DuPree-Bemis (vocals, guitars), Christie DuPree (vocals), Garron DuPree (bass), Remington DuPree (drums), Elle Puckett (lead guitars, vocals) and Jedidiah Lachmann (keys).

The forthcoming album will be Eisley’s fourth release on Equal Vision Records and their first album showcasing Dupree-Bemis as the primary writer and frontwoman of the band, with bassist Garron DuPree also taking a more prominent role in the writing and recording process. The new album will also feature additional guest vocals from Christie DuPree, of Merriment.

The new album will stay true to form of the band’s signature dreamy sound, with DuPree-Bemis elaborating, “Musically, you could say it’s classic Eisley, in the sense that it’s melodic, moody pop and is written from the heart. Lyrically, it’s very whimsical; it has a vibe that will take you into its own world and let you escape your normal life for a few minutes. I like to cloak things in a little mystery and romance; I think it’s part of what makes all of Eisley’s songs sound like they’re from the same world. Every record is like opening and reading a book in a series.”

She adds, “And now that we wrapped up tracking, I’ve really been able to digest this album as a whole and I have to say – I’ve never been more proud of a creative project. The emotions are transparent and the melodies and music take me where I want them to. I know it will translate to old and new listeners alike.”
