Chicago’s Ratboys make music to help them remember. On “Elvis is in the Freezer” – a highlight from the band’s new album GN – singer/lyricist Julia Steiner recalls and celebrates the memory of her cat Elvis, who passed on and then found an unconventional resting place in the icebox. The song finds joy in loss and strength in pain, and soars off somewhere else at the end, maybe to meet up with Elvis.

You can find Ratboys playing this ode to Elvis on tour throughout the USA.
