(Blood & Ink Records)
All the hallmarks of a great metalcore album are present here – a furious pace, chaotic dynamics and intense singing met with low breakdowns. What’s also present that adds greatly to the album is incredible production, some ambient moments with distant vocals, and an intriguing take on ’90s metallic hardcore that, unlike many of their peers, changes from tune to tune. Fans of Converge, Norma Jean or Turmoil will appreciate this meticulous, noisey album that was inspired by C.S. Lewis.
