Turning Virtue
A Temporary Human Experience
(Self-Released)

On their first release since 1997, the prog-rock quartet reassemble with Mark Zonder (ex-Fates Warning, current- Warlord) behind the drum kit, who greatly helps cultivate a lush and progressive return where meticulous guitars are met with sweeping and soaring beauty. Heavy on the textures and ambiance, this is an extremely detailed album with musicianship that alternates between louder and hypnotic to calm, and almost trance inducing, often times taking on a cinematic quality. Self-described as post-progressive rock, these 9 songs collectively come off as art that attempts to dig deeper into the crux of the human experience. (Tom Haugen)
