Song Premiere: House Olympics – “70 Frames”

New Noise Magazine is pleased to be announcing that House Olympics is back. The Bloomington, Indiana act are announcing their new full length, Spectral, which will be available August 18th via Bad Break Records. To celebrate the news, House Olympics is premiering the song “70 Frames” from the upcoming LP exclusively below.

“70 Frames” features House Olympics again in their raw, carnal form. The vocals are visceral, the instrumentals bouncing along a steady pace thanks to the rhythm section. The song is self aware to the feeling and mood, with distraught lyrics woven into the dissonance. Dynamics crash through the mix with powerful stop and goes, unleashing a ghastly vocal delivery, as if every demon is being exhaled into the microphone.

“The song describes both the physical and emotional sensations of a panic attack, at least for me. Anxiety is a big theme over the course of the album.” T.J. Jaeger of House Olympics
