We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of The Ansible’s redux acoustic version of their song “She Sings” (listen below). The original track is from the band’s sophomore album Draw Closer, which is available for purchase & streaming here.
The band commented on Draw Closer:
“I hope that people listen to it as an album and not just a collection of songs. We worked hard to create a curated listener experience from start to finish both lyrically and sonically. I hope we can provide an atmospheric escape for the listener. We absolutely use music as an escape as well as mood enhancer. You can color your day with the music you listen to and we hope that ours brings positivity and inspires.”
Hailing from Texas, The Ansible is a melodic, hard-hitting band that takes you on an unforgettable journey. The band began as a passionate project between guitarist Greg Hinck and vocalist Derril King. Shortly after their inception, the duo introduced the world to The Ansible with the band’s debut album, Binary Dreams (2015).
With an astounding positive response from the local Austin, TX music scene, the duo opted to turn the project into a full band, soon performing more live shows and touring, drawing a great deal attention from fans alike. In June 2016, the band released their sophomore album, Draw Closer, a powerful and mesmerizing composition that set the band apart as an unrelenting creative unit. With a versatile lineup that includes guitarist Christopher Crow, bassist Christopher Sanchez, and drummer Dominic Mehrens, The Ansible have begun to make a name for themselves throughout the music scene by touring extensively and writing their much anticipated third studio album.
