We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Early Spring Horses’ new song “Chaos” (listen below). The song is the title track from the band’s forthcoming EP, which is scheduled to be released on July 12, 2017.
The band commented: “Chaos is often caused by traumas. Chaos is the primordial state that precedes order. In this moment, everything can happen and the most creative things arise.”
Swedish dream-pop band Early Spring Horses leads the listener into an intimate, chaotic world. Described as “creators of slow, majestic pop” by French magazine Les Inrocks, instrumentalists Arthur wilmotte and Vincent Stockholm mingle the organic sounds of guitar and piano with electronic elements.
Two tracks from their album What The Wood Whispers To Itself have been reissued. “The Race” was arranged by Jezz Acid with the Stockholm’s live backing players Tilia Weever on piano and Arthur Wilmotte on harp. “Chaos” – featuring Romain (Alpaga) on guitars – echoes bands such as Cocteau Twins, Cigarettes After Sex or Slowdive.
Their new record What The Wood Whispers To Itself has been acclaimed all over Europe by publications such as Les Inrocks (FR), Froggy’s Delight (FR), Westzeit (DE) and Muzine (NL). The group will be touring Europe from 5 October 2017.
