We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of The Good the Bad and the Zugly’s new song “Vik bak meg Satan” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming album Misanthropical House, which is scheduled to be released through Fysisk Format on January 26, 2018. You can pre-order the album here.
In line with the overall theme of the album, the track deals with the bodily decay of an aging punk rocker and it can definitely be labeled as “Thinking man’s punk.”
The lyrics deal with an illness that one-third of the world’s population can relate to, but no-one talks about. Taboos still exist! And so does punk rock.
Truly the bastard child of the 90s Scandinavian rock scene, The Good the Bad and the Zugly (or short: GBZ) carry the torch of Hellacopters, Turbonegro and Anal Babes, and remind us of a time when punk rock was a promise of infantile nihilism and pure vicious fun!
Misanthropical House was mixed and produced by Anders Nordengen and written and recorded by the band at Top Room studio in Hadeland, Norway.
