We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of German dark folk collective Neun Welten’s new song “Human Fail” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming third full-length album The Sea I’m Diving In, which is scheduled to be released through Prophecy Productions on July 28th. You can pre-order the album here.

Neun Welten guitarist/vocalist Meinolf Müller comments:

“‘Human Fail’ is a fascinating song in many ways. Musically it’s the most folky song on the album and points to our roots when we were more engaged with northern mythology. Unlike the music, the lyrics are pretty topical and contain social criticism: they are about the deliberate damage of nature by us human beings and our self-destruction.”

The Sea I’m Diving In is the band’s first album of new material since 2009’s Destrunken and is the first-ever Neun Welten record to include English lyrics (some adapted from the writings of Edgar Allen Poe). The record features contributions from members of Empyrium, Haggard, Die Kammer and Dark Suns.
