We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Sammy Kay’s new album Untitled (listen below). The album is being officially released on April 7th through Stomp Records. Untitled is available on colored vinyl here, digitally through iTunes, and streaming on Spotify.

Sammy Kay comments: “I wanted to keep the past in the past, and to not forget that I’m forever changing as a songwriter, growing and constantly pushing myself forward. I feel the songs on this record show exactly that. Me and the boys are real excited to get back on the road and are really stoked to show you all the new songs. We’re all so proud of LP3, and can’t wait for you all to hear it.”

Hailing from New Jersey, singer/songwriter Sammy Kay has lived the kind of romantic life that can only be found in song. With the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows, Kay returned to his home state after years in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, as well as traveling the world playing in and working for a myriad of bands. Somewhere along the road, he penned this deeply introspective new record. Pure, unadulterated New Jersey punk rock soul music, plain and simple.

The Untitled record is a step away from his last, Fourth Street Singers, but shows all the growth after the last few years of heavy traveling. A larger sound with themes of growing up, sorrow and hope shine strong on these 10 songs.
