We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Tell the Wolves I’m Home’s new song “Somber” (listen below). The song is the title track taken from the band’s forthcoming EP, which is scheduled to be released November 2017.

“Somber” is well summarized in the title. The content is ripped straight from the life of Cole Kennon, a vocalist of the group. “This track is the most personal track we have ever released for me,” Cole says, “It shines a light on a very personal time in my life that I feel all young people can relate to – loss and how we deal with it.”

Much like ourselves during a time of heartache and loss, the track violently shifts back and forth between a reflective softness and an confused anger. The heart of the song can be summarized in the line, “I can’t help but wonder when this will end / I contemplate you again.”

“Somber” is a shockingly honest, unstable, and vulnerable look at how we handle hard times.
