Album Premiere: The Tossers – ‘Smash The Windows’

We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of The Tossers’ new album Smash The Windows (listen below). The album is set to be officially released tomorrow, March 3rd through Victory Records. You can purchase the album physically here, as well as digitally through iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

The Tossers’ Smash The Windows is a rollicking, rowdy journey through Irish culture, which in many ways mimics the tumultuous tone and climate of America today.

“We are really excited for the Smash The Windows release and even more excited to let people give it a listen before it comes out,” heralds guitarist Mike Pawula. “By recording something traditional, we salute our past, as the album reflects a memoir of immigrants settling in America. And with the contemporary material, we are pulling ourselves forward and trying new things. This album means a lot to us, we hope you all love it as much as we do!”

Our writer Jesse Striewski commented on the release saying: “On their latest full length release, they maintain a steady dose of fast sing-a-longs such as ‘The Horses,’ ‘Whiskey,’ and the title track, while mixing them with some bittersweet melodies found in numbers like ‘1969’ and ‘Danny Boy.’

Striewski continues, “With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, Smash the Windows should make a great soundtrack for all those hooligans out there planning on swigging some green beer in the near future.”
