Tiny Kingdoms are one of Chicago’s up-and-coming bands in the scene. With their new holiday acoustic single “The Season” via Whelmed Records you can stay cozy during the winds of winter while Christmas turns the corner. A soulful and longing track, the song holds sparkly notes reminiscent of Fall Out Boy’s “Yule Shoot Your Eye Out” and New Found Glory’s “Snow.”

When asked about the track, Tiny Kingdoms’ Nico Miura said: “I always wanted to play a part in writing a Christmas song but it always felt like I was forcing this happy feeling whenever I would try,” Miura said. “Finally, I was just like, ‘screw it’ and we wrote ‘The Season’ and it felt super natural. I think we all are very happy with releasing it because it’s not the typical, ‘everything’s great because it’s Christmas’ nonsense. It’s more so like feeling that you’re missing out because everyone seems happy except you.”
