New Noise Magazine is pleased to bring forth a tripped out video experience for Labor Day. “Excess” is premiering below from psych-rock act New Candys. The song bellows with a gripping bass line, charging the rest of the instrumentals into a sonic daze; full of grandeur and poppy atmosphere. “Excess” is full of swelling guitar lines and a vocal line that rides through the mix very much at one pace, swirling together with the visuals provided by the music video. The track is off of the upcoming New Candys album, Bleeding Magentas, out in October 6th of this year.

“The video, like the album’s artwork, takes inspiration from Nicolas Winding Refn’s last movies and Dario Argento’s early movies. The album title Bleeding Magenta is also a cinematographic reference; in fiction there is no real pain.”
