New Noise Magazine is pleased to be bringing forth the powerfully charged new single from The Shell Corporation. “Rooftops” music video was shot exclusively by Apple iPhones and also has the lyrics to double exposed over the band in different shades of color (mainly white, black & red). The song is driven by a pummeling rhythm section led by the bellow of the bass. The guitars are reflective in their approach, going from intricate licks in the verses to crushing chord progressions in the chorus. Watch “Rooftops” below.
“Rooftops’ from the upcoming album Fucked. by The Shell Corporation. On Gunner Records and La Escalera Records March 2nd. It’s like one of those lazy lyric videos that every band makes now, except that it was a total pain in the ass. Made by, directing by and starring The Shell Corporation for the whopping budget of $0 (we blew all the money on the jet). If you don’t like it there’s probably a comment section below.” – The Shell Corporation
“Rooftops” is taken from their upcoming album, Fucked., which arrives on March 2nd through La Escalera Records at home and Gunner Records abroad.
Fucked. serves as a follow up to The Shell Corporation’s last album, Mandrake, which was released back in 2014 on Paper + Plastick.
