We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Virulent Depravity’s new song “Desecrating Eden” (listen below). The track is taken from the band’s upcoming album Fruit of the Poisoned Tree, which is scheduled to be released on April 7th through The Artisan Era Records. The album will appeal to fans of Spawn Of Possession, First Fragment, Archspire, and Origin.
On “Desecrating Eden” the band is joined by famed keyboardist Jimmy Pitts (Pitts Minneman Project, Equipoise, NYN) who graces the track with a fantastic guest keyboard solo between ripping solos from both Colin and Malcolm.
Virulent Depravity is the brainchild of Nashville-based guitarist, bassist, and vocalist Colin Butler. His impressive songwriting abilities attracted the attention of well-known guitarist, and fellow Nashville, Tennessee native, Malcolm Pugh (Inferi, ex-Entheos, A Loathing Requiem) who joined in 2016 on rhythm guitar and additional solos. The line-up is rounded out by Svart Crown (and ex-live Benighted) drummer Kevin Paradis.
