We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of 18th & Addison’s new music video for their song “Moving Mountains” (watch it below). The track is taken from the band’s latest album Makeshift Monster, which is available for purchase through iTunes.
The “Moving Mountains” video is a return to their more comedic side similar to the video for their debut single “Jealousy.” 18th & Addison touches on some heavy topics in their lyrical content, but they don’t want to take themselves too seriously and suck the fun out of being in a band. After all, that’s why they started to begin with.
“This video was so fun to make. It’s kind of a heavy and dark song lyrically. Very bleak, so making a fun music video was really important to us. We laugh way too hard when we see those people running around like idiots causing trouble in the dinosaur suit so we had to make a video out of it & give him a story. We had a blast & we’re really proud of it!”
18th & Addison is a punk rock duo from central New Jersey consisting of the now engaged couple, Kait DiBenedetto and Tom Kunzman. In July of 2016, they put out their second independent release, a full-length album titled Makeshift Monster. The album serves as a follow up to their debut EP from 2015, Little Parasites.
In support of this release, Tom and Kait kicked off the summer by releasing a music video for the lead single “War,” which premiered on New Noise Magazine & was later featured in Journeys Shoes nationwide. The support from both came at a perfect time as they have been tearing up the DIY touring circuit since the album’s release with both their full band as well a few successful acoustic tours and playing some festivals such as SXSW & Mesa Music Festival in Austin, TX followed by an opening slot on the main stage at Vans Warped Tour 2017 on July 7th in Camden, NJ.
