Video Premiere: Schedule 1 – ‘Paint it Red’

Schedule 1

Pacific Northwest-based band Schedule 1 are set to release their self-titled LP on January 28, 2022, but ahead of the release, they are sharing the new single and video, “Paint it Red.”

The band, featuring members of Bishops Green, Dead Cells, Candy(BC), and Systematik, formed right before the COVID-19 prompted the masses to lockdown, though they still managed to come together and create a batch of strong, cohesive tracks before even playing a live show together.

Schedule 1 did, however, play their first-ever show together over the weekend on September 18 in Vancouver BC at the Bullet Farm. They have an abundance of influences, including post-punk, hardcore, and emo, alongside their hard-hitting melodies and cohesive sound.

Schedule 1’s Grant Minor chat more about the new single: “‘Paint It Red’ is a personal song about familial identity, purpose and pain. It was formed in the collective subconscious of the band and could not have been realized without each member’s energy.”
