Noise rock/shoegaze all-stars A Place to Bury Strangers just released a video from their forthcoming live album, the Fuzzed Club Session LP.
The video is a new, live take on “Punchback,” originally released on their most recent record, Pinned. As you can imagine, it’s fuzzed out, heavy, and fabulous.
“It’s good to record at the very end of the tour,” says Oliver Ackermann, the band’s vocalist/guitarist and founding member, in their press release. “You’ve been playing these songs all tour, and there’s a certain point when you kind of get tired of them, so you have to reinvent what they mean and what happens in them. I feel like that always pushes things to the next level. It’s exciting.”
Stay tuned for more info on the new record coming soon.
