Out July 31 on Doomtree Records, check out Cloquet’s latest, New Drugs, with us first.

From J.Gundersen (Vocalist):

“Our album New Drugs hopefully provides the listener with a light in the dark for those darker moments in life. I’ve been trying to find the words to share that feeling with everyone and to let the listeners know they are not alone. Honesty is the path the vocals take, and I’m wearing my heart on my sleeve in most cases. It’s both vulnerable and protective of myself and for the ones I love. We all need to take better care of ourselves, and some of these songs are reminders to do that and take care of each other.”

From Paper Tiger (Producer)

“Ultimately, the foundation of not only this album, but this project (Cloquet) was created as a space to deviate from our previous creative work, take some musical risks, and have a great time doing it. It was also an opportunity for two friends that lived on opposite coasts to stay connected, and driven while apart. It was an excuse to deliberately blur many of our musical inspirations and provide our own take on it.”
