Out today via Dirt Cult Records, Primitive Teeth’s self-titled record is fast, heavy, and unique.

Chicago’s Primitive Teeth features members of Violent End, Split Feet, Daylight Robbery, Chronic Seizure. To me, they sound like what I would imagine Siouxsie and the Banshees would if they were a hardcore band. But, however you label them, this is an absolutely stunning record.

“We recorded these four songs on September 28, 2019, which seems like three lifetimes and a different world away,” the band says. “While we are disappointed we can’t celebrate with a record release show or tour, we’re extremely excited and grateful to be able to share our first vinyl release with everybody.  We look forward to the day we can safely play music together again.”
