If you’re bleeding out with desire for a best-of collection from Redundant Protoplasm, out February 7 on Horror Pain Gore Death.

Formed in 2015, Redundant Protoplasm were the fetid afterbirth of Jon Page and Jon Ransom’s (Kryptcest, Night Hag…) previous band, Toilet Fetus. Over the next four years, they continued as a two-piece, writing an album’s worth of material and playing sporadic, local shows.

Fast forward to early 2019 when fellow Tidewater grinders Matt Dorsey (macerated, Organ Trail) and Sam Fox (Kryptcest, Night Hag), joined forces with the Jons to build the first full lineup since the bands inception.

“After releasing a new demo in 2019, two live performances, and a brand-new full length on Horror Pain Gore Death Records due out February 7, this new incarnation of Redundant Protoplasm are ready to stir some shit up in 2020,” the band says.
