Sit down. Listen. Ponder. Ponder again. Take everything you know about life and condense it into 36 minutes and 41 seconds and you will luckily come out the other side much, much wiser and we can only thank Bliss Fields and their debut album “Slowly, Forever” for graciously allowing us to take part in this journey with them.

The entire ten track album soothes every little inch of the soul and then some. From the acoustic openings of It Comes in Waves to dissonant ballad Clementine to the intensely shoegaze Stare, all your wishes will be granted. Bliss Fields has had a tumultuous career, to say the least, but it looks like the present and future are bright and absolutely, wide open.

The album is out now via Acrobat Unstable. Photo from Facebook.
