Dividing Horizon

Progressive hard rock from Los Angeles that has a sonic quality similar to Tool where layered instrumentation, a dynamic approach and an underlying industrial element are used strategically. There’s an artistic and dark quality here that becomes immediately memorable with both loud guitar riffs and programming, as well as the occasional lulls of softer, abstract moments. While it can get abrasive, almost violent, there’s a complexity here that can only come with an enormous amount of talent. Feel free to use NIN or Karnivool as a point of reference, but there’s much more to embrace here. (Tom Haugen)
