Annie Jean Linn has eschewed genre expectations with her new single and video “Fever”. Her debut solo release is hauntingly asymmetric, falling somewhere between David Lynch, David Bowie, Brian Eno and Lingua Ignota. The song is a complete sonic departure from her previous group Sadurday, and highlights her ability to create an all encompassing audio, visual and tonal tapestry for her audience. Impressively, Linn composed, recorded and self produced her new release along with directing and starring in its ambitious video. You can watch “Fever” below!
“‘Fever’ explores the unsettling and the unknown as it strays from tradition into the avant-garde, taking you on an almost Lynchian tour of a frantic fever dream.”
Annie Jean Linn is one of the most fascinating new polymaths on the scene, with a unique artistic perspective as a musician, cinematographer and model. You can keep up with her on Instagram and stream “Fever” here!
