Brooklyn dream-rock group Atlas Engine have shared their first release in a year; the anthemic ‘Don’t Stop Now’ is an optimistic call to arms born from last year’s political turmoil. “This is when we wake up” song-writer Nick LaFalce declares, backed by a wall of voices in every register along with bombastic drums and rich textures to forge a larger-than-life sound.
‘Don’t Stop Now’ is the follow up to 2016’s After The End EP, which caught attention from The Wild Honey Pie, Impose, and the Deli, along with national airplay via Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist and winning KX93.5’s King of the Beach competition in LA.
While the EP was essentially a one-man operation with LaFalce writing, recording, and producing everything at home, this release also shows growth in terms of collaborators. Working alongside the minds that brought you Local Natives & The National (Joe Lambert), and Bright Eyes (Andy LeMaster) it’s clear that Atlas Engine have found the perfect team to bring their vision to life.
Atlas Engine also features Justin Mayfield, on guitar, and Pat Cocchrane on bass/vox.
Fans can follow Atlas Engine on social media if they’d like to be the first to know about follow-up releases and upcoming shows.
