We’re pleased to bring you the premiere of Atonement Theory music video for their song “Sink (The Abyss Of Dwelling)” – watch it below. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming EP Illumination, which is available now through IDEFY RECORDS.
Atonement Theory comment on the new release and music video:
“This project is the result of several years of exemplifying what moves me most in music; a balance heavy and melodic fueled by utter raw emotion. ‘Illumination’ is 4 songs of stripping back who I am and taking a risk in exposing that to the world.
I chose to represent this in summary by creating a music video with Max Moore for the song ‘Sink (The Abyss Of Dwelling).’ as I’ve always felt that it summarized the entire record and range of emotions within the record pretty well.
It’s a bit like pouring your heart out to someone you love in hopes of not having your guts ripped out as a result of exposing yourself. This is both the subject matter in the song and (ironically) also summarizes my long time fear and love/hate relationship with working towards completing this project. I really hope people enjoy what I’ve worked so hard on creating. Thank you for your time.”
Atonement Theory is Jay Jancetic (of Harm’s Way) on guitars, bass guitars, percussion programming, vocals & keyboards/electronics. Greg Bruchert handles live bass performances.
