Additionally, I appeared on NPR, was quoted as an authority on music in USA Today, hosted a "Daily Show" roundtable at Politicon, delivered presentations about music journalism at UCLA and the Idaho Writers Guild Conference, and taught a monthlong course at Boise State University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute on the evolution of rock and roll from Elvis Presley to Jimi Hendrix.
