Ash Prison are an industrial metal group containing members of 6th Circle, Child Ov Night, Abstracter, Somnolent, and Atrament.
They have a new album called Future Torn coming out September 22 on Sentient Ruin Records. The first few singles are streaming on the band’s Bandcamp as well as their label’s, and you can also preorder the album on cassette or vinyl.
“Death Reborn” starts with haunting spoken vocals run through some sort of distortion to give an unsettling opening before the electronic beats and Ministry-style vocals come ripping through the silence. The song strikes a perfect balance between industrial, electronic elements and traditional rock elements. “Scorn” is a bit more of a slow burn, starting out with about a solid minute of ambient noise, but then it jolts awake with blisteringly fast beats and more snarling metallic vocals.
