Springfield, Illinois’ Attic Salt masterfully combine pop-punk and power-pop with a pinch of alt-rock to create their unique, catchy sound.

Friends and bandmates since the late ’90s, Andy Harmon, Fred Malcom, and Skip Davis formed Attic Salt after enlisting Alyssa Currie for the new project. The result was a melodic, aggressive, and unapologetically pop match made in heaven, for fans of Blink-182, Upset, Swearin’, The Menzingers, and The Copyrights.

“Mud” is the lead single from their sophomore release, Get Wise, and is a power-pop banger about bad habits and disillusion with a homemade video to boot.

Get Wise is out September 25 via Jump Start Records (MXPX, A Wilhelm Scream, Plow United). Pre-order the album here, and check out “Mud” on Bandcamp below.
