Enervate are a hardcore punk band out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
They just dropped their new EP called All Said and Done, and it’s currently streaming on their Bandcamp page. Opening track “Don’t Need You” is a blistering hardcore track that’s made especially interesting by multiple tempo changes throughout the short song. “No Way Out” has a slightly funky beat reminiscent of Turnstile, but also goes through several tempo changes where it just launches into more traditional hardcore.
“React” is a very raw tune with blown out vocals that makes the song sound particularly brutal. Finally, the title track ends the album with even more funk rhythms and abrupt tempo changes. It’s a welcome change from hardcore bands that offer little variation in their songs.
