Happy Friday! Geld are a hardcore punk band from Melbourne, Australia.
They’re putting out a new album on June 9 on Relapse Records called Currency // Castration. The first single off the album is available stream on their Bandcamp page, where you can also preorder the album on vinyl, CD, and cassette.
The single is called “Fog of War,” and it’s one hell of a rager. It starts out on a really killer bass riff before the guitars careen into the song, and it’s pretty much just a mile-a-minute hardcore track from that point on. The vocals even border on being more death metal than hardcore punk. If you love some good, old-fashioned, raging hardcore, you’ll want to check out this track and preorder the album.
