Her Absence Fill the World are a dark wave duo out of Berlin, Germany.
They recently put out a new single called “Hit & Run” via U-Boddin Records, and it’s streaming right now on their Bandcamp page.
“Hit & Run” embodies everything that made the dark wave genre so great in the ’80s and ’90s, from the pulse-pounding bass line to the droning drumbeat to the smooth-as-glass femme vocals that act as the cherry on top of this dark sundae. The hook of “Run baby run” becomes truly hypnotic in its refrain and will worm the gorgeous tune into your brain to stay.
