Hold My Own are a hardcore band from both Chicago and New Jersey. Not sure how that commute works, but this band seems to have it figured out.
They recently put out a new single called “All the Lies” and it’s available on their Bandcamp right now.
The track clocks in at only 1:17, but it manages to pack a lot into that 87 seconds. It beats you around the head with power chords while keeping with traditional hardcore lyrical themes of personal integrity and rebelling against the establishment. The band also put out a split with Carried By Six earlier this year that you can check out as well.
