Recently hatched electronic synth-pop project from Newcastle, meet Impatiens. Newcastle-based producer Amelia Bessany aka Impatiens uses a whole array of influences in her sound. From folk, experimental to post-punk Impatiens’ work is predominatingly hardware-based with Amelia’s vocals prominent. ‘Hungry Plants’ is her latest release. With a sense of curiosity, it tells the mysterious context of inner lives of plants.
“Leaves fold and unfurl with changes in sunlight, or fall when a plant goes into shock and some may even ‘play dead’ in response to disturbances.” Bessany says of her inspiration behind the track.
