If you’re familiar with punk, you’re probably familiar with Jello Biafra. The iconic Dead Kennedys frontman’s latest spoken word track “Message From Our Sponsor 2020,” has earned him our Bandcamp of the Day honor.
The track updates “Message From Our Sponsor” off his first spoken word album, 1987’s No More Cocooons.
Today will also see Bandcamp forgoing its usual cut of sales to put extra money into the pockets of musicians during what has become a dire time for the music industry as concerts are forced to cancel or postpone.
