Heavy and dark, the newest release by meth., Of Red Light, will be out August 23 via Prosthetic Records. We’ve made them Bandcamp of the day to get you hype on this new record.

Of Red Light is the anticipated full length continuance of the unnerving narrative introduced in meth.’s I Love You EP. Each song is a direct portal into the psyche of the plebeian-turned-Davidian leader who now wrestles with his tortured spirit and incestuous infatuation with The Choir Of Red Light’s evil matriarch.

Shifting from the more earnest metalcore and mathcore inflections found in their previous releases whilst never allowing their luster to be fully dimmed, Mother Of Red Light sees meth.unearth dizzying displays of grinding aural terror that can tear a hole into time and space with maddening waves of dissonant splendor and blinding flash floods of noise.

Mother Of Red Light was mastered by Jack Shirley at The Atomic Garden in San Francisco, CA and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL. The forthcoming album features drum engineering by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL while instrument and vocal engineering was handled by Zack Farrar at Choir Room Audio in St. Charles, IL.

“Our next collection of audio has been finalized.
The summer will act as the preview.
The throats will swell very soon
The Choir of Red Light loves you.”
