Hope you had a good, long weekend. If you’re looking for something to lift your spirits as you head back for the short week, we’ve got the band for you. Check out Rave on Binary, who are an electro-metal band from Paris, France.
They recently released a new single called “I’m Not Human.” The track is going to be part of their yet-to-be-titled album that’s due out in October. The full album will be a concept album that tell the story of an artificial intelligence’s life from birth to death.
Between the song’s electronic elements, the metal and hardcore punk elements, and the vocals that straddle the line between hardcore punk and metal, the song has echoes of late-era Refused but with more metal than punk. The electronic beat really drives this song, as do the electro special effects that make for some really interesting noises throughout the song. It’s fast paced, but remains hard as hell, like a good metal album should be.
