Rogue Limb is a metalcore band from Nottingham, UK. They’re releasing their album Actus Reus on October 12, and the first single, “Sirenhead,” is streaming right now on their Bandcamp.
“Sirenhead” is a deft blending of riff-heavy metal and hardcore punk, with a very mathy beat that changes up frequently. The whole thing becomes so disjointed that it verges on becoming musical chaos which, for some of us, is quite enjoyable. With only two members in the band and both of them sharing lead vocal duties, it creates a unique dynamic to the song’s vocals. Overall, it’s a promising first single from an album that looks to be a must-hear for metalcore fans.
