Welcome to the working week, rockers! Sick Ride are a dark power-pop group out of Lafayette, Louisiana. They recently put out a new single called “Over & Out” which is currently streaming on their Bandcamp.
“Over & Out” has a powerful beat and some big, fuzzy guitars that really get a chance to ring out on this track. It’s also got this almost ’50s pop element in there. The melodies are just some gorgeous, classic pop melodies. But what really makes this song is the swagger in the vocals that evokes a sense of complete confidence. It’s a sharp and fun track that you won’t be able to listen to just once.
