Telgate are a glam-punk/queercore band from Cardiff, Wales.
They recently dropped a new single called “Gammon” which is now streaming on their Bandcamp.
A fiercely political anthem, “Gammon” is an aggressive track that spits in the face of the British establishment. Musically, the song is a bit complex for a punk tune, but sounds properly glam with a touch of Bowie in the mix. You especially have to appreciate the keyboards at the end that shuffle the song towards its end. It’s a big, fancy, showy tune with some very strong political statements.
