Bandcamp of the Day: Terminal

Terminal

Terminal are an industrial outfit out of Pretoria, South Africa.

They have a new album coming out on Friday called The New Republic and the first single, “The Sin of the Sanctified,” is currently streaming on their Bandcamp where you can also pre-order the album on CD.

“The Sin of the Sanctified” is a classic industrial track that uses trademark industrial electronic elements to create a dark, heavy sound. The lyrics are deeply political, coming out of the gate singing “How many guns would Jesus buy?” This song is packed full of everything that made industrial great in the ’80s and ’90s, and yet there’s this an ethereal element in the song’s atmosphere, giving just a hint of shoegaze underneath the industrial heaviness. If you love good, quality, heavy electronic music, you might want to check out the rest of this album when it drops on Friday.
