The Sonder Bombs are an alternative rock band from Cleveland, Ohio.
They recently released a new single called “waste.” It’s currently streaming on their Bandcamp.
The song has a delicate, indie-pop energy. The gorgeous femme vocals are obviously run through some sort of distortion. It doesn’t sound like it was done to cover up any lack of singing ability but rather to mesh with the electronic elements in the song. The track gets really sparse towards the end, with just some basic keyboards and vocalizations that leave the track feeling peaceful and calm as it ends. It’s a really great song for any fans of well-done indie-pop.
