The Traders are a punk trio from Lyon, France.
They just released their latest single called “Grandiose,” which they say will be the first single off their new album due out this September. The single is streaming right now on their Bandcamp.
“Grandiose” moves through a lot of peaks and valleys, starting off with some quiet bass and a spoken intro, it then moves quickly into some rough hardcore. Then the melodies start to come in, and the song starts to develop some actual pop hooks, all while the vocals are fuzzy and distorted. The song then starts mixing all these elements, with a hard sound but some really fun melodies that play out amidst the hard guitars.
