Happy Friday! VOID is an avant garde metal group from the UK. Their fourth album, Jadjow, drops on December 7 on Brucia Records. The first single from the album, called “Self Isolation,” is streaming on their Bandcamp where you can also pre-order the album on CD.
“Self Isolation” wastes absolutely no time and comes straight out of the gate with blast beats and solos blaring. The vocals alternate between deep and soulful and the more traditional cookie-monster style vocals of death metal. There’s strong and beautiful melodies in this track that blend perfectly with the power and fury of the metal attack. It certainly bodes well for the rest of the record when it comes out in December.
