Wrong War is a hardcore outfit from Chicago.
They recently put out a digital 7” called On Further Reflection on Council Records with a promise of a physical vinyl to follow. It’s streaming on their Bandcamp right now.
The 7” starts off with a title track that keeps up a surprisingly hopeful air for a hardcore song without sacrificing any of that hardcore power. Then “The Call” is a very staccato song that starts and stops on a dime to create a very disjointed sound. “Darkness Flag Unfolds” just rolls out some old-school, pummeling hardcore.
