Boston Manor’s debut album Be Nothing is now streaming in its entirety prior to its release. The LP will be distributed via Pure Noise Records on September 30th. The band are doing acoustic in store performances around the UK this week and a tour supporting Moose Blood next week. This will be followed by an inaugural visit to North America in support of Like Pacific later in October. Boston Manor have also announced their first full UK and European headline tour, which will be taking place in November and December. Can’t Swim (US) and Wallflower are set to support.
Be Nothing is melancholic, full of anthemic rally cries with high energy punk music to go along. Opener “Burn You Up” sets the tone early on, spiraling through the next nine tracks with a sense of urgency. Boston Manor’s clever use of dynamics helps keep songs interesting, never falling victim to repetitive assaults. Be Nothing was produced by Neil Kennedy (Milk Teeth, Creeper, More Than Life) and mixed by Kyle Black (New Found Glory, Set Your Goals, All Time Low).
